New Monthly Feature: Ask Me Anything!
Readers are invited to ask me questions, which I'll answer on video every month for paid subscribers.
Since Substack introduced its video feature, or since I noticed its existence, I’ve wanted to find a novel way to use it.
At first, I considered reading my articles like a hostage video. While that would be mildly entertaining, it seemed too similar to the audio versions of my articles that I occasionally produce.
I’ve always considered doing a regular AMA segment, so I figured why not do those on video?
Starting now, readers can ask me anything — whether it be about politics, arts and culture, life advice, or whatever crosses your mind — and I’ll read my responses on video. But there’s a catch — these videos will be for paid subscribers only.
I’m thinking I’ll start doing these once a month and then if I get inundated with questions, start doing them more frequently. I’ll do the first video once I feel I’ve got enough questions to produce something worth your time.
So if you have any questions about anything at all, drop it in the comments, email me at appel.jeremy[at]gmail.com, or DM me on your social app of choice. I think this could be a lot of fun.
Conservatives have created a compelling narrative for voters to internalize - mostly an anti Trudeau / WEF / etc mythology. What kind of overall narrative could the left create to similarly capture voters' imaginations?
We saw the rural-urban split in the AB election - is there really anything progressive media can do other than a generational shift?
