I’m doing a series for Canada Forward from now until Referendum Day in Alberta looking at a different aspect of the Alberta Transition Council’s plan for Alberta independence each week. It’s the most serious plan for independence thus far, which is certainly a low bar. This week, I looked at its plan for health care.

Last but not least, if you’re in Edmonton, I’m celebrating the release of my new book, Dark Phoenix: The Rise, Fall, and Re-emergence of Danielle Smith on Oct. 13 at the Aviary.

Buy your ticket here. If you can’t make it or live elsewhere, you can preorder Dark Phoenix to your local bookstore.
