Sounds like a local mom and pop donut shop being taken over by Tim Hortons and forced to rebrand, including a drastic reduction in the quality of its donuts.

The NDP has been captured by a cadre of professional politicians. Not only by its members of Parliament and provincial legislatures, but even more so by its paid staff.
Good story - reflects much of what older social democrats express. I remember a celebration of Grant Notley at Chester Ronning High School in Camrose [since renamed so as to erase Ronning's legacy], and the comment that stood our most to me then was praising Grant for his "analyses". Sad day in 1984!! Have to seriously wonder if there is someone in Alberta who can come across as caring about what many still consider valuable and necessary for the future of all people here.
