Finally........some government authority recognizing that our government is complicit in a genocide.........and will continue to be complicit until it considers that just maybe, boycott, divest and sanction would be a better approach than continuing to send weapons to a genocidal regime.
I'm ashamed to be Canadian......more often than not, given our sneaky duplicity when it comes to going along with the American Empire's tendency to be on the wrong side of many conflicts. The genocide in Gaza is outing all of us in the west, for our cowardly silence and continued hypocrisy.
I'm curious as to why the UNIFOR arms-embargo-vs-ISR resolution that passed unanimously yesterday at their Vancouver conference was not included in this week's headlines.
Good question! I only learned about it right before I was about to record and already had the Burnaby city council motion written up. In retrospect, I could’ve joined the two together.
We need to get every town and city in Canada to follow Burnaby's lead.
