Donald Trump is the perfect capitalist actor and every nation's ruling class is benefitting. Duchess, rember the lesson of Piketty? Capitalism has always been about the fewest squeezing the most out the many and the only way to get past the tendency of falling profit rates is to keep finding new ways to squeeze more people more thoroughly...

Ok, last part of rant😁. Every ruling class needs to squeeze harder in every dimension. What better way than to cash in on two generations of neoliberal decay and sugar-coat as much hyperexploitation and oppression as the state, employers and institutions can implement, as fast as possible? I think PP could've won if his handlers called Danielle Smith and figured out a common front that would play Trump the way Carney just played him. Either way, we now have a nationalist barrrrstarrrrd covered in fucking maple syrup who's getting ready for his own version of cutbacks that will save his banking buddies' asses and he'll blame Trump all day... If we let him.

America's ability to outproduce or outfrighten everyone for preferential credit ratings, currency or trade surplus ended with a bang on October 7th. Up to then, conservatives could hold fascism as no one knew how the USA would bow out of its cops-of-the-world. Trump 1.0 was a protectionist true to his corrupt developer heart: buy off adversaries or their judges and build fortified resorts while the rest starve. While most rulers survived COVID, Trump had to navigate the double whammy of George Floyd. The Democrats were able to recruit from the mobilization of millions for BLM and fear of further authoritarianism to install Biden.
