For the Progress Report, Duncan Kinney and I obtained documents showing that Alberta Health Services is projected to have spent $330 million on private contract nurses since 2021, almost half of which was spent during the 2023/24 fiscal year.
Speaking of Duncan, he’s going to trial next year on trumped-up charges that he defaced a monument to a literal Nazi in Edmonton, which strikes me as a uniquely victimless crime, even if it were true, and is fundraising so he can continue paying his lawyer.
