At Alberta Native News, I wrote about Onion Lake Cree Nation’s decision to proceed with its constitutional challenge about the Alberta Sovereignty within a United Canada Act in response to Premier Danielle Smith’s escalating separatist threats.
Additionally, I did a story on the Assembly of First Nations asking the federal government to review the 1930 Natural Resources Transfer Agreement, which transferred ownership of Crown land and natural resources to Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta without consulting Treaty First Nations.
