I went on Polite Conversations to speak with Eiynah about Israel, Jewish identity, antisemitism, propaganda and the media. Our conversation was long. Here’s part one.

I’m fundraising to provide critical coverage for Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 24 speaking engagement in Edmonton. I’m just 3 paid subs away from my target. If you want to see me cover this event and have some cash to spare, please consider a paid Orchard subscription.

For the first Forgotten Corner episode in two months, we did a two-parter with Mousa Qasqas, the Edmonton-based spokesperson for the Canadian Palestinian Cultural Association, if you’re interested in another long discussion of the situation in Israel and Palestine.

Pre-order Kenneyism

If you haven’t yet pre-ordered my first book, Kenneyism: Jason Kenney’s Pursuit of Power, whose Feb. 6 release date is fast approaching, please do so.

Pre-orders are important for a book’s sales trajectory, because they signal to booksellers how many copies to purchase and how prominently they should place it in their store or online.

Through my publisher Dundurn Press, you can easily find a local independent bookstore you can pre-order Kenneyism to.

Just go to the book’s webpage, scroll down and hit the “shop local” tab. It will prompt you to put in your postal code and will then list the closest bookstores where you can purchase it.

If you live in Edmonton, alternatively, I’m hosting a book launch on Feb. 6 at the Aviary. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and include a copy of the book.

I’ll be speaking about the book with long-time Alberta politics columnist Graham Thomson, and then doing some signing and schmoozing.

You can buy a ticket here.
