I covered the Alberta government’s AI data centre town hall in Sturgeon County for Canada’s National Observer. Not a single member of the public who took the opportunity to speak expressed support for data centres.

At Alberta Native News, I reported on a Court of King’s Bench ruling that celebrity investor Kevin O’Leary’s company doesn’t have to be included in Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation’s application against the Municipal District of Greenview’s water license for its proposed data centre near Grande Prairie.

I also covered the Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s efforts to get the Town of St. Paul to recognize its Métis roots by returning to the municipality’s original name, St. Paul des Métis.

I did a Reddit AMA for Ricochet Media about Postmedia’s impact on the Canadian political landscape on Wednesday, which you can view here.
